Office Manager (P/T; Hourly)

Our busy Cleveland Clinic-based office is looking for a reliable, well-organized, part-time Office Manager to handle day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency and time management. The Office Manager will be responsible for streamlining administrative procedures, answering customer calls and emails, inventory control/management, order entry, QuickBooks maintenance/bookkeeping, payroll, and administrative assistance as required by company employees, including the CEO. In other words, we’re looking for an energetic professional who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop organizational procedures including filing, billing, accounts payable, payroll and scheduling
  • Improve customer relations and retention via thorough, prompt, and active communication and problem-solving efforts
  • Continue education in management, organization and company operations
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Order entry
  • Help developing presentations
  • QuickBooks administration
  • Answer customer calls and emails 
  • Inventory control/management

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proficiency in Google Apps, including Sheets, Docs, Slides and Drive
  • Experience with scheduling, budgeting and payroll
  • Advanced computer skills (QuickBooks)
  • Experience in research or medical settings a plus
  • Comfort interfacing with individuals across the company, including at the C-level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; pleasant phone demeanor a must, as well as correct grammar/usage/style via email
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking within a fast-paced environment

 

 

Phone Sales Representative (P/T; Hourly + Commission)

Our busy Cleveland Clinic-based office is looking for reliable, well-organized, part-time Sales Representatives to handle sales calls.

Responsibilities:

  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets/clients/customers
  • Adjust content of calls by studying customer response
  • Submit orders via company website as needed
  • Keep management informed of sales activity via reports
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proficiency in Google Apps, including Sheets, Docs, Slides and Drive
  • Previous phone sales experience or willingness/ability to learn quickly
  • Experience with medical sales a plus
  • Comfortable interfacing with individuals across the company, including at the C-level
  • Comfortable "cold calling" when needed
  • Excellent written (email) and verbal communication skills
  • Pleasant phone demeanor
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking within a fast-paced environment
